our wedding is on a saturday night and we're leaving monday late morning for Hawaii.

We do not plan on going on our honeymoon for a few days after the wedding (but less than a week). We feel we will need some down time to soak it all in and take care of 'business'

We are hoping to leave the next day.

We plan to leave 2 days later (Wedding on a Saturday, leave on Monday).

BUT are toying with the idea of waiting a month if we opt to do a Greek Island Cruise. May is nice in Greece but I LOVE me some HOT weather

We're not. Our wedding is 9/29/07 right in the peak of hurricane season. We really want to go to Costa Rica, but October is the prime rainy season, so we're going to wait until late November/early December. We figured we didn't want to settle on another destination that we're really not that interested in visiting. So the week after the wedding we're going to do something smaller. Maybe 3-4 days in Cape Cod. We're also looking at Vermont, New Hampshire, Montauk, North Fork, the Hamptons, Fire Island, Vegas, San Diego, San Fran or Wine Country - but the last 4 would probably cost more than we want to spend and we'd probably need more time. I'm kind of excited about it now because we'll have a few relaxing days without too much travel, and then we have our honeymoon to look forward to after we get everything settled from the wedding.

well It just so happenes that some girls are getting married the same weekend as me.. so I would like to at least see their ceremony! I might wait like 3 or 4 days to leave after my wedding

We are getting married friday, and leaving on a monday.

I am not sure. I am getting married the week before easter. So my honeymoon would fall in spring break. I am not to big on crowds. Plus I dont want to many college kids on my honeymoon. So we may wait 1-2 weeks.

we are not going to go until a month or two after...FH business (his busy season will not be so busy October and November) + my MOH is getting married 10/5/07...

Our 'real' honeymoon will be in June 2008 to Greece (7months after our wedding) but we plan to take a short five day honeymoon to Mexico or the Caribbean two days after our wedding.
