hmm what to do about soon-to-be discontinued BM dress
I found a BM dress at David's Bridal that i really liked ... the MOH bought hers already but the BMs want to wait a bit so that they can lose weight ...
i called DB's just now and they say that dress is 'soon to be discontinued' but as of right now, all sizes are still available. Should I just tell my BMs to buy the dress ASAP, or should i wait until the dress is actually discontinued (meaning they might not make the size the BMs need)...?
i'm thinking i should wait a bit ... but is that too big a gamble?

Did DB specify when it would be discontinued? Give you a cut off date or anything? I'd be scurred to leave it and not be able to get it in the end.

I would have them order soon. They can always take the dress in if they lose weight. If your MOH hadn't already bought the dress, I would say everyone can wait, but since she did, I think everyone should order them soon.

Order the dresses. DO NOT wait for them to lose weight. They can ALWAYS have the dress taken in.
My sister wanted to wait until she lost weight to order her dress, but I wouldn't let her. I wasn't taking those chances.

no, they said i can call back weekly to see if it's discontinued or not ... she said it could take up to 8 months ... who knows.
i would like to wait it out until it's officially discontinued, but i'm scared it'll end up in disaster ....
i guess i should tell them to order soon-ish

I would have them ordered soon, they can always have the dress altered. I had all of my bp order theirs asap when I knew which dress they wanted from davids.

Well, you should be ordering those dresses soon anyway! I know DB dresses come in a lot faster, but still. I'd give them a month, two TOPS!

David's Bridal is super-fast ... my MOH's dress came in in about 2 weeks (she was told it would take a month).
But yes, i'll tell them to order them dresses asap.

i woud order them....i got mine from there also and they were going to be discontinued so we all just got them early
if they give u a date buy them right b4..they could go on sale..ours were only 99 bucs and i loved my bm dresses more than my own dress

I just spoke with one of the BMs and told her to get measured and order the dress as soon as she can ... i'll tell the other BM tonight.

i would order them now, since your MOH already purchased it. you can always take the dresses in (alter) if the BMs will lose weight.
