hmmm...just wanted to share...my guests are....

Coo coo coo coo!

Let me just give you a clue as to how '' our friends and family might be...

Guest #1: Invites are out... 'Oh, ha! I thought you were getting married at the end of October?'...'ummm...I am', I said.
'Oh, but the invite said the 13th!'
The invite said: the thirtieth of October...
I specifically chose a font that was clear so there would be no question for ANYTHING!

Guest #2: Sends an e-mail, 'Ummm...I can't make it'...'Ok, could you send me the response back'...'Oh, I don't think it came with one...' BS! I didn't spend hours numbering them, having FH double check me, having me double check him...

I'm sure there's more that I just am trying to block out at the moment....

Please share stories of your coo coo guests, so I won't feel like I'm the only one friends with '' people....

Oh jeez...how annoying!!!!!!

Well one of my Mom's friends is in the middle of a divorce and was invited without her husband and guess what the reply came back with Mr. and Mrs. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

Also my co-workers waits to the last day to RSVP and puts it on my desk with a post it note that says 'My response.' Ummmm yeah thanks can you mail it....LOL!

It's not just you!!!

I'm 9 days out and I'm still waiting for 1 couple to RSVP.

I have a good one. FH cousin put two down onthe rsvp card we assummed him and wife, just found out it's him and his
GIRLFRIEND!!!!! Could you imagine. FH freaked out, he's
going to call him and tell he's no longer invited to the wedding.
Some people

The office nut said she couldn't find my invitation because she brought it in to show our receptionist - who also got one. Then she sent me an email (she sits in the next office) to say she can't make it. Alleluia!!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with '' guests!!!

One guest ask if she can bring 2 people with her. Why should i pay for someone that i don't even know?

The only one I have is that my friend broke up w/ his live in girlfriend and so we didn't invite guests for people not in a serious realtionship.. well he took it upon himself to bring a guest..
oh and of course my FH's 2 little cousins who are now coming and trying to be in my bridal party.. lol

My FFIL (aka El Cheapo) said he wasnt sending in the response because he could just call and tell us, but planned to steam the stamp off and reuse it

A close friend responded that she's not coming because her 5 year old son wont allow her to go

Just....oh my God!

I got a response via phone from an Uncle who swore up and down he sent it back and he wanted to change his 1 reply to a 2 because he wants to bring a guest. We never got the original response back.

Tons and Tons of people are telling me verbally that they are coming/not coming but not sending the responses back

A cousin of mine told my aunt to apologize to me for not sending it back because she think her house ate it because its lost. She found it once and then it disappeared again!!

Here's one...
FMIL, two days beofre the invites were to be mailed (they were stuffed, and sealed) she decides to add on three more people. She claims that she told us about them back in December when we were getting the list together. Well, she didn't. The names were never mentioned, they never got a save the date invite and now she wanted to add them on - the best part is that she made it seem like it was my fault. I kept my cool anyway, bit my tounge, whatever!!! It's funny because were got alot of the addresses from FH brothers list who was married in april 04. I guess FH mother thought we knew who her friends were from that list. Sure, some of them we know, but not all of them. Regardless, all 3 people sent back responses saying they are not attnding. What a waste!!!

Not sure if this applies also but I had an aunt that sent in her rsvp with NO NAME but said two were attending. I told my mom this and she was hysterical.
The very next day I get a response with NO NAME AND NO RESPONSE, just the card. Who was the culprit......my mom.
