Let me just give you a clue as to how '' our friends and family might be...
Guest #1: Invites are out... 'Oh, ha! I thought you were getting married at the end of October?'...'ummm...I am', I said. 'Oh, but the invite said the 13th!' The invite said: the thirtieth of October... I specifically chose a font that was clear so there would be no question for ANYTHING!
Guest #2: Sends an e-mail, 'Ummm...I can't make it'...'Ok, could you send me the response back'...'Oh, I don't think it came with one...' BS! I didn't spend hours numbering them, having FH double check me, having me double check him...
I'm sure there's more that I just am trying to block out at the moment....
Please share stories of your coo coo guests, so I won't feel like I'm the only one friends with '' people....

FHs aunt has time to go on our website and give congrats and say she may not be able to make it but she will send a nice gift, maybe a seashell frame with our invitation in it like FH's sister got!
And this is the same aunt who complained that she didn't get her thank you from FSIL fast enough!! Granted, she did take almost a year, but what kind of aunt complains about that?!?!?!
Oh, and I could go on and on about my RSVPs in general, that I still have about 30 out!!!!! And FHs family that HAD to be invited haven't even responded yet!

only weird one so far.. my uncle (who i dislike) calls me to say 'uummmm, did you get my response? and i say no. he then says well i think i lost it' and i say ok... (long pause here) and i finally say, ok whats the response then? and he says he thinks he's coming. What? There's no 'maybe' option, its either yes or no!
How do you lose one of these things when you live in a studio apartment? geesh.

I love it! I mean it sux that your guests are 'special' but I love that people are so completely non sensical and don't even realize it.

One guest ask if she can bring 2 people with her. Why should i pay for someone that i don't even know?
I had the same thing happen with one of my guests, she asked if she can bring 2 people and i was kinda annoyed but i said yes and then my wedding day, she and her guests were all no shows, so i payed for her plate and 2 extras that she asked to invite which really pissed me off, and she has never even called me to explain why the hell she and guest were all no shows.

One of my guests (FH aunt) had the nerve to tell me which hotel to have my OOT guests stay at by asking me to pick the most expensive hotel (why, I couldn't even tell you) but being I'm considerate of others I chose one for a decent price of $129 per night...when I told her that she said, you're crazy...'I'm not staying there thats way too expensive!!!!!'
