hmmm...we dont think we can go on our honeymoon after our wedding...

bc of fh's work..We are thinking of going for our 3 month anniversary or 6month anni.THANK GOD FOR HONEYMOON INSURANCE.....o well at least we ARE STILL going on our tahiti honeymoon, just a few months delayed

does it look bad as an outsider? i dont care at all but dumb people have been making ridiculous comments already
has anyone been in this situation?
is there anywhere close you suggest for the weekend?

I can't go on my HM after the wedding. we have to wait until Feb. b/c I am a teacher. it kind of stinks but, I don't have a choice UGH!!

You know where it is gorgeous for a quick getaway, Killington Vermont...the leaves will be all colorful, and I took FH there for his b-day last year for a quick weekend...loved it...try Snowed Inn...www.snowedinn.com

And there is a TON to do and yummy resturants right in walking distance...they are so nice and make a continental breakfast that is like no other! Think fresh baked coffee cake!

My friend was not able to go after her weding so she went to Montauk for the weekend. You can also go to Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods or somewhere upstate. I know Montauk has a lot of great places!

That was where I was today! Gurneys is lovely! And go on a boat! That is what I did...I caught my first fish today!!!!

We did take out HM yet. We spent our HM money on the wedding so that we could have the last minute things that we wanted. Instead we spent a few days in Manhattan and really had a great time.

How about Martha's Vineyard? Also, they have cruises that are out of NYC...they have a nice cruise to Nova Scotia!

Your wedding looked amazing! Where did you stay in Manhattan? We are looking to stay there the night of the wedding!

Oh no.....Thank God for that insurance that I have yet to purchase! It will be something to look foward to in the future if you can't go right away! You can always do I close carribean island for a few days (3 nights) right after the wedding. I have a friend that is a teacher that did Puerto Rico for the weekend and then went on her HM in the summer-good luck!

We are not going on our honeymoon until the summer (about 6 months later). I am a teacher and we plan on going to Tahiti which we feel is too far to go for just the February break (a week). I think other people think it is odd but who cares?!?! I think it'll be nice because it's something to look forward to after the wedding. Good luck!

We're not going right away either, because I can't get off until work. It's really not a big deal - we'll go a few months after, and honestly, I think it's kind of nice to still have something to look forward to, and also a few months later to go away and sort of reaffirm our happiness together and our marriage.

Right after the wedding, we're staying at Danfords in Port Jefferson for a couple of days before I have to go back to work. We just wanted somewhere nice where we could relax together and not have to drive far or anything like that.
