Hofstra for wedding pictures?! UPDATED WITH BRIDAL PICS

Ok, here is the background. FH and I met at Hofstra University and we have so many memories there.... FH actually brought me back to Hofstra and that is where he asked me to marry him.

So considering the fact that it has meaning to us, plus it does have beautiful grounds, do you think it is dumb if we go there to have our wedding pictures done??

PLEASE BE HONEST.....

No, I think it's a great idea. Campuses usually have very manicured lawns and gardens.

Awww that's so great..me and my FH met at hofstra! I think that is such a cute idea! Great memories and the grounds are really pretty over on the school side...I haven't been inside but there is a bird sanctuary too over by the pride club...

I think it's PERFECT!!!

I did a 'day after' shoot with my MOH last year for her wedding at Wagner, where she & her husband met & the pics came out AMAZING!!!!!

Here are a few highlights. The one on the stairs is where they first met - she was walking out of the building, she was walking in....12 years later - they're married.

absolutely! we met at SJU, and our church is one block away from it & we are doing pictures there- so I say go for it! they have a beautiful campus & more important it is so special to the two of you!

Ang, I think with your history at Hofstra it's perfect for you guys. You can do a reenactment of the proposal scene with your bridal party standing around you.

I really think it would be great!

JMO......
I am not too sure, maybe bc I cant picture where you would take the pictures. Is there a particular part of Hofstra that you would want or around the Student Center Dorms?.... If you like it i LOVE it but do a search and see if you can find some pictures of couples that have done it in the past then you can get a better idea.

A girl I know took pictures at St. Johns bc thats where her and her husband met. They pictures were beautiful.

I think it's a great idea since it means so much to you & FH. Hofstra has beautiful grounds and since your wedding is in NOV. there should be foilage too. Also, you could concider taking some at Hofstra and then maybe some at the Garden City Gazebo since it's nearby (and free!).

haha i actually am going to hofstra right now for my masters and the other day i was thinking some of this campus would be so nice for wedding pics!!

i say def go for it especially since it has such meaning to you both!!!!!!

Hofstra is actually considered part of some botanical gardens or something like that. The campus is really nice....I think it's an adorable idea and the pics will look great and hav meaning!!
