I am sending out my STD's with my holiday cards, but am having trouble coming up with wording and then saying, oh by the way, here's my save the date? Can someone please help me with wording?

I would just write a quick, informal note on the cards: Don't forget to put May 21, 2006 on your calendars next year for the wedding!
and maybe draw a smily face next to it :o)

We just put it in our cards w/o saying anything...I think the STD speaks for itself.
