So I offered up my place for a holiday g2g to go along with the registry swap (there is a thread out there somewhere)... Since we started talking about g2gs in another thread I figured I could start asking what days work best for you ladies.
My house is in Farmingdale but if for whatever reason I don't close in time we can find another venue but I think we should at least pick a weekend now so we can all pencil it in.
What days/dates/times work best for you in December for a holiday g2g?
If you are doing the exchange but can't/don't want to come to the g2g we will make other arrangements for you to get your gifts from/to your bride.
I will start... A Saturday, anytime or Sunday afternoon works best for me. (I need time to be able to bake!!!!)

Saturday or Sunday would be great! I work till 12:30 but I can always come late. December 5th works for me.

sat & sun work great for me too.. as long as I know in advance, I'm free any sat or sun in December..although I would probably like to avoid one right in the middle of Hanukah b/c FH's family will most likely be doing something

Ok... So we will get our official contract from the lawyer within the next week or so...
I will say the 5th or 6th of December for now and then when I get the contract if our closing date is too close to that I may have to push it to the 19th or 20th so as to avoid as much of Hannukah (sp) as possible.
So just give me a few weeks to come up with an exact date...
And start thinking of something to bake!! We can do a holiday cookie exchange too!! Everyone brings a kind of cookie and copies of their recipe and then we all get a recipe and I'll containers so everyone can take cookies home with them!!!

I am free pretty much any Sunday in December and usually Saturdays....fridays sometimes can be tricky but if necessary, I will make it work. We always go skiing the week before xmas so that is probably the ONLY time I can't make it.....other than that, I am totally down!!
I am SO excited - I LOVE the holidays!!!

I'm a jerk! Got home and realized that I'm busy on the night of 12/5. However, I'm free during the day on 12/5 and all day/night on 12/6.
There I go, suggesting a date and realizing after the fact that the evening isn't good for me. However, don't plan around me - whatever works for the majority of folks is best!
Sigh. I love the idea of a cookie exchange. I bake some damn good cookies for Christmastime!
