all this free time today has me thinking - every year my 4 GF's and I exchange little gifts - usually in the $20 - $25 range. every year it's the same things - candles, soaps, bath & body stuff, etc. it's getting kind of boring and frankly, how much bath & body works stuff does a person need??? this year - i am thinking of doing something different. i was thinking of getting some really nice yarn (like a mohair or a chennile) and making them scarves. what do you think?? is that cheesy???

Mohair is lovely and I think they'll appreciate something given that you made yourself!
If I knew how to knit I'd do the same. But I'm not giving anyone pressies this year other than my dad, FH, sister. Sorry but money is tight and I can't afford it.

just came back from michael's - bought a couple of skeins of this really cool textured yarn. going to give it a try today.
BTW - michael's was packed!!!! i guess there are lots of bored people today!!
