Anyone else having a TERRIBLE time getting in touch with someone who is breathing there?
Sorry. Just blowing off steam. Honestly- if it weren't the easiest location... I would be screaming at them and walking away. I don't get some places and their professionalism.

in Riverhead? They didn't have good cs when I visited so we went to the Hilton Garden Inn.

I agree. CS is horrible! The website with our special booking rates almost NEVER works. But I booked both Hilton and Holiday Inn.
I visited of them and the Holiday Inn is fine once you get there. The rooms are pretty much comparable.

I hear ya! There have been a few times where I was ready to just walk away because I was so frustrated but they do have the best deal in the area. Good Luck-I feel your pain!!

The one in Stony Brook/Nesconset area has been wonderful to me! I'm sorry you guys are having a bad experience with the Riverhead location!

i stopped by the hauppauge one and got some info, but haven't called to get pricing yet. heard it's a pain, and i dont think it's worth it but it depends on the $$!

You need to get in touch with james fallon. He is running holiday inn express riverhead as well as hotel indigo.so he is super busy whipping everything into shape... Once you reach him he is amazing. It is worth the wait. Keep trying .. Call him directly. Try him at hotel indigo if you cant reach him at holiday inn express. Good luck!

I am referring to the Hauppauge one. I am getting married at the Watermill and have left SEVERAL messages stated I wanted to BOOK.. .and have gotten NO response. Unbelievable.

I had trouble at first, but then explained to the receptionist that I was having extream difficulty and got a call back shortly after....rooms for my block are $139/night

I did the same today.... and she was EXTREMELY nice when she called back. So I was in return as well. I have a rate of 119 per night.

Anytime I have spoken to her she is extremely nice. I think she knows that she doesn't do so well with returning messages. There was a time that I waited over a month for her to return my (multiple) messages so I made FH call, he left a message, and she returned it that day with some excuse. I don't get it but, again, we stayed because of the shuttle and breakfast. Good Luck!!

they just called me back but cant give pricing further than 52 weeks out. ugh. and the smokey smell on the 7th floor (bridal suite floor)? it rises from the 6th floor they said.... and they are 'working on it'
