Anyone block rooms there for their guests? Any reviews / comments on the place in general?
I read some m ixed reviews about it and was curious to know other people's experiences.
I am between there and the Wingate Inn Garden City. (I think the Holiday Inn will be a little cheaper, though, but I want a place that will be nice, clean, with polite staff, and will distribute our OOT gift bags to our guests).
Thoughts?

Good question......We're going to block rooms at the Holiday Inn b/c its very convienent for the guests. We were given a rate of $139.00. One of the companies I used to do travel for always stayed at this hotel and I never heard of any complaints. Maybe I'll take a ride down there and check them out.

i did. it worked out perfectly. it was centrally located and right near WM. it had a pool, bar and restaurant. we organized a breakfast there the next day and it was wonderful. since i had a day wedding, we hung out at the bar all night

I blocked my rooms there and they were very helpful. When I first called the woman wasn't very helpful, but within a few weeks someone from there called me back and told me the woman I spoke to was no longer with them, and the girl who took over was much better.

Kara, I just came across this post now. Sorry so late. I want to tell you that my co-worker and I were talking about the Holiday Inn in Westbury and she was telling me how gross that hotel was. We were talking about it b/c we were trying to come up with hotels in the area not too far from Jericho Terrace and I mentioned this one and she said no way, it's dirty and disguisting.

This s*cks bc thats where we have our rooms blocked................. I'll have to take a ride there this weekend and check them out.
