SO with Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa this week, what are everyones plans?????
I am going to my Sister's house in Miller Place for the Eve. We are having a Cuban dinner which is my FAVE!!!!!!!!!! Christmas Day will be at FMIL's for an 8 course Italian meal followed by dessert at my Aunt's house.

On Christmas Eve we are going to FH's Aunt's house for dinner and then going to my parents for a little bit.
Christmas morning we are going to my parents as the crack of dawn and then back home to open presents and then to Fh's parents house to open gift. THEN we are going to NJ to my aunt's house for dinner.

We are spending Christmas Eve at my house with my family and Christmas Day with FH's and that will become our yearly tradition.

i will be home with my parents for both days..people travel to us fh will come by on christmas eve for a bit and i will go by him on christmas day..we live a whopping 3 minutes from each other

I have a crazy week.
Last night Hannukkah at FIL's
Christmas eve at mom's staying over for Chistmas morning at mom's
Christmas night at Sister's (MOH)
Friday back to MOH's for dinner with Dad and Step mom
Then Saturday other sister with her teenage kids is coming from NJ so back to my mom's.
Damn I have to drive out east a lot this week

Were going to NJ for Christmas Eve to FIL's house and then FH's aunts for Christmas Eve Dinner, then we all go to Mass.
Then I will stay at FIL's for the night and get up early to drive home so I don't miss Christmas morning at my parents, being that I am an only child and if I am not there my family is alone. Then FH meets me at my aunt and uncles.
I HATE HATE HATE this arrangement.
Not sure how to fix it though.

We're splitting Christmas Eve between my house first since we start earlier, and ending at FH's Uncle's because they go later (fortunately we live in same town). Christmas Day we're keeping seperate and staying with our own families. FH wanted me to come, and obviously I'm invited, I just felt that it's my last Christmas at home and it would break my father's heart.

Christmas Eve.....Leave work at 3. FH Aunt is having dinner around 4:30-5. Christmas Day.....FH Aunt in Smithtown starting at 12ish. Then heading to my Aunts at 3ish for the rest of the night.

Christmas Eve with my family at my Grandma's house and Christmas day with FHs family at his aunts house....
next year we're gonna start switching it up, so far for the 6 yrs we've been together we've done Eve with my fam and the Day with his but I would like to spend xmas day with my family sometimes so well see what happens

I'm only working two days this week...so Wed. I will just get all last minute things done. Then we are going to stop by FHs family... then stay with my Mom. My brother is leaving to move out of state right before the holidays, and my moms boyfreind never stays. So, I really don't want to leave her alone on the holidays...so FH and I will spend most of the time with her Christmas Eve. Then Christmas Day we are going to FHs family...his OTHER half...then going to MY family....OY! Soo much running around! lol

AHHH the holidays, tis the season to be busy!!! On Christmas eve we go to FH mothers house and have the best Italian dinner .LOVE IT!! Christmas day we go to my sister's house for a 3 way family triangle breakfast ( she is crazy , bet that will change after my nephew is born due 3/3/2009) then we spend the day there with my side of the family. then that night we all go to one of friends house to do the gift thing. We are really trying to convince them that next year we should move the day, I know it is a tradition but babies are coming and some of us have to work the next day.
