Holiday SAVE THE DATE ideas

Holiday SAVE THE DATE ideas

I am a new bride to be and new to this site as of today.

We are planning on sending out a holiday themed Save the Date announcement. Anyone have any catchy slang wording or cute picture ideas??

The only ones I've seen are:
(1) Wishing you a MARRIED Christmas
or
(2)Deck the Halls and Save the Date

I'm leaning towards choice #2 but any other ideas welcome!!

This is a cute idea!

I would NOT pick #1 because it could be offensive if someone just got divorced or a broken engagement or something. I know you don't mean it that way but it can be taken to heart.

How about (don't judge LOL)-
Sleigh bells RING, are you listening? Two hearts...with love are glistening.

Just brainstorming here....LOL

What about

'Tis the season to be MARRIED'

though if your wedding is in August maybe thats confusing. Cute though!

or maybe you could use the lyric'

In the meadow we can build a snowman
and pretend that he's parson brown
he'll say are you married we'll say no man
but you can do the job when your in town

A little long for a save the date but I'm just trying to brainstorm. haha

Maybe a pretty ornament with the date on it and your names? Like a snowflake or something 'neutral' for all religious backgrounds?

Love that!!

Are you getting married around the holidays or in the summer?

I'm getting married in August so I don't want to make it too confusing with the holiday references. Just thought a combined holiday card + save the date would save time and money!
