I'm getting married on Father's Day. We chose the date because it's a meaningful date to us and it just happens to be Father's Day.
Is anyone else having a holiday wedding? Were you able to get cheaper pricing on any vendors?
Do you think it will prevent people from coming?

I'm getting married on Veterans day..
the only reason it's cheaper is because it's a sunday..
but the following day should be a holiday for most so it's almost like a saturday wedding

Well since it's not a major holiday, I think people will still come. It's not like you're getting married on Christmas. You might be able to get cheaper prices, if not because it's Father's Day, then because it's a Sunday. (It is right?)

Yeah we got Sunday pricing, and I did get the minimum lowered by 20..but I feel like maybe I could have done better. I hadn't thought about ti when I went in beause I was originally planning for another date)
