Holiday weekend brides beware when booking your honeymoon

Hi girls,

I just wanted to let you know that when we went to book our honeymoon for November (05) last week, that the day we wanted to leave was already booked! It's the weekend before Thanksgiving and we have to fly out on Sunday instead of Saturday. Also, we are getting nailed with holiday fees on the airfare which would have been over $1000 pp if it wasn't included in the package we are using...

If you are getting married or leaving for your honeymoon on a holiday weekend, book it as early as possible!!! Hope this helps!!

Thanks. I will keep it in mind. I am getting married Martin Luther King weekend. While I don't think it is as popular, I am sure that plenty of people want to escape the cold.
