My dress was measured hollow to hem but it's too long so the seamstress is heming the dress from the bottom. Is anyone's semtress doing the same or is there any who are taking it up from the middle??
My dress has a lot of detail on the bottom so its being take up from the waist.
My dress has not come in yet, but I was told that since I am really short and probably won't have huge heels that I will probably have to have it taken up a little from the bottom and a little from the middle. I have alot of detail on my dress too which is going to make this process a little more difficult.
I just looked at the dress in your album. It has detailing at the waist and there is space to play around with at the hem so it seems like a better idea to take it in a bit from the hem instead of the waist. Also try using a fuller slip or higher heels or both. Then maybe you won't have to shorten the dress at all.
