Teen Driver Crashes into Adult Store

A driver and a store employee were injured Tuesday night when the man drove his car into an adult shop in West Babylon.
The crash occurred at 10:17 p.m. at Sneek A Peek, The Couple's Boutique, at 588 Sunrise Hwy., along the eastbound service road, Suffolk County police said. A police spokesman said the car went 'all the way into the building.' The store sells lingerie, videos and, um, toys.
The driver, identified by police as Michael Sicurilli, 18, of Lindenhurst, and an employee of the store who was inside, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The employee's identity was not released.
The boutique has been the center of controversy in recent years, with town officials issuing dozens of summonses totaling tens of thousands of dollars in fines in what some describe as an attempt to force it from the neighborhood.
