Holy Crap Veils are expensive!!

I found the veil I want. Its $350. I don't want it anymore lol.

Can anyone suggest places where I can get a less expensive veil? I can't see myself (personally) spending almost $400 on something I am ripping off my head with 2 hours of putting it on....
The one i love but don't love anymore is finger tip, comb style with delicate crystals on the edging. So pretty...not worth $400!!!!

Websites? Stores?

barrons is supposed to be cheap

From what I've heard (I've yet to shop veils for myself), yes. Try searching for Barron's, you'll probably find some info A lot of girls get them made there after seeing the prices at the bridal salons

I was at BR last night visiting my gown. My dear and wonderful consultant whom I am obsessed with btw, Nawal, knows me like the back of her hand comes out with this veil she just got in, and put it on my head, and I died! Than she told me the price and I died again. My mom is like 'I'll give you half, you pay the rest' and I am like 'Mom, this is fabric. FABRIC FOR $350!!!' and sadly told her to write the number of the veil down in case I can't find anything later....

I think the cheapest I've seen them at bridal salons is like $200 for a PLAIN one.

kk, well Barons here I come!!! Anywhere else worth looking at??

the veil i tried on in macy's bridal was $300 and when i went to barron's the veil i found was almost identical...for 135

agreed! they are crazy - mine is 2/3 the cost of my dress....but me and my mom fell in love!!

i just got mine from Barron's in Tri-County . They are great. My veil is like you described. I have pics in my album. They have many different styles. If you go bring a swatch of your dress and photos of it and they will help you pick something great. My headpiece was $89 and my veil $125. Good luck!

they are surprisingly very expensive !
i want a cathedral vail and so far what i liked was around 400$ or more at 3 different stores! there is no way i want to spend that much $$.

so me too.. would love to hear of some great affordable places!

I got mine for $25 on ebay and it is EXACTLYYYY what I wanted. I love it so much!

I thought it was going to be crappy because of how cheap it was but it's great!
