FH and I spoke and are trying to determine areas we want to move....near Scranton/Wilkes Barre is on the list....
this house can be custom designed to our liking and with land it's about $159,000!
My goal is to move by next summer!
PS - We didn't buy this house...we're just looking....I think I confused everybody....

We are moving to the area north of Portsmouth, NH, in fall 2009 / spring 2010. Prices are amazing there!

We have friends in Portsmouth - so nice and so affordable!!! I wish it was closer to my family....

Ya houses outside of NY are much more affordable. FH and i will hopefully move away from LI. Goodluck on your move and house hunting!!

My aunt lives and owns a restaurant in Lake Wallenpaupack...just outside of Masthope! I'm looking anywhere near Scranton/Wilkes Barre...we have to investigate towns a bit further!
