That will be a great concert! ENJOY! They usually play in the rain, as long as it doesn't lighting..it should be clear later....

Re: HOLY HAIL!!!!

OMG it was like a war zone in my office!!!! We were all standing in the upstairs part just looking out the window like OMG and it was hailing and the winds was like a monsoon-- and my boss was like 'everyone away from the windows!!!' and then we did and we were like crouching in the office b/c it was so scary and we thought our big picture window was going to shatter!!! Then someone ran in and said-- you'd better go downstairs and get everything up!!! So we all ran downstairs and there was water RUSHING in like a river-- we picked up everything, all the comps, all our drawings (architectural office), etc-- and my boss has this panicked look on his face--i felt SO bad for him!!! he is the best guy and I felt awful. So we all just tried to get everything up and then our landlord came and he is shop-vaccing it all up

Thanks! It was pretty insane here for a while. I mean, my boss was legitimately worried that the picture window was going to shatter. He was like everyone away!! I couldn't believe it.

OMG!! that's crazy! It's sunny and 92 down here in DC. I hope everything turns out ok. And I hope the weather up there doesn't ruin anyone's wedding tonight.

Re: HOLY HAIL!!!!

My friend was wondering if a tornado touched down at Burns Park in Massapequa because a big Oak tree came down, there were leaves everywhere and all the traffic lights in Massapequa were out - AND it WAS hailling here at around noon. Interesting about the hail in summer = tornado fact. Hmmmmm.....

although hail may fall in some places before tornadoes form, it does not mean there are tornadoes coming. They both form from the same type of cloud - the same type of cloud that forms thunderstorms, but are independent of each other.
