Holy **** -Worst pain- HELP really bad SINUS INFECTIONS Should I go to the hospital

sinus infections that drain to the point that your whole face is swollen?

I went to the Dr last night, he said I was really sick and put me on everything. Last night the pain just got owrse to the point ofno return. I doubled up my antibitoics which seemed to help

I have been up all night, my face is swollen,

Im sorry Im just in so much pain..... Im going to the dentist and my dr to see WHY this keeps happening.

I must have something really wrong..

I get really bad sinus infections they are the worst and really painful. If you are on antibiotics that should help. Feel better

I had one last week and I took Amoxicillan. It seems somehwhat better but it is lingering still. Feel better!!!!!

maybe they can take an x-ray? i have a deviated septum and sometimes my sinuses get crazy but you can't see it w/out an x-ray.

My SIL had this problem and had surgery to have her sinuses drained....
It helped immensely!!!!

GET TO THE DR.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And feel better soon

i get very bad sinus infections, too. sometimes the Dr. has to go in and physically drain them, as they are past the point of antibiotics working.

have you had any dental work recently? that aggravates my sinuses too sometimes.

i hate the sinus pains too..
last time i went to my doctor he just told me i need to take sinus medicine regularly..

If this propblem is chronic, you should really talk to your doctor about surgery.

I had sinus surgery twice (one for each side) and it has helped so much. I don't get sinus infections as often and it releaved a lot of the pressure. I used to get terrible headaches where I couldn't study and just wanted to lay down in a dark room. So I know how you feel, I was miserable until I had the surgery.

GO TO THE DR OR EMERGENCY ROOM ASAP - if you are in a lot of pain!!!! I had sinus problems for years so I KNOW you must be SOOOO miserable and in so much pain

I just had sinus surgery in August and it made a world of difference.

I will tell you though - not to scare you but you should make sure they watch you carefully I have been told by a few dr's that sinus infections that are not properly managed can turn into meningitis - so make sure they give you what ever they need to - to make you feel better

Thanks ladies, I actually ended up going to the dentist and they found an infection in the bone. Sucks hate oral surgery.

Oh well Im at work and I need to go home, but that in place

Its amazing how often your TEETH and / or gums can be the cause of so much pain. Its not the first place you'd think of!
