That is a great price and part of Baldwin Harbour is in Oceanside's school district.

Get out is it really? I didn't know that but it would make sense since it's so much closer to Oceanside HS than Baldwin HS

And Scott there is NOTHING wrong with Baldwin. In fact I grew up in Oceanside and always had 'Baldwin envy' - I always thought Baldwin was a nicer looking town. LOL

I grew up in Baldwin, went to school in Baldwin and just moved 2 yrs ago.

My father has gotten mugged while walking at night. They ripped out his insulin pump thinking it was a beeper! Can you believe that sh&*t??

I was a witness in a murder trial. Remember the old Shoe town on Grand Ave? On Memorial day a few years ago some co-workers killed the manager there. And oh yeah, guess who found the body and was also scheduled to work there at that time? Oh Me!

At my friends house, in the harbor, they found a dead body right in front of her neighbors house. Dead from some drug deal gone bad.

There has been alot of gang violence at the middle school and high school level. Yes, this is a problem at many schools but for some reason it has become worse in Baldwin.

There is no shopping in Baldwin!! Seriously, where are you supposed to go it you want to buy underwear or men's socks. Umm Roosevelt Field!

Sorry that this is so long, but I no longer have 'Baldwin Pride.' My family has always been very active in the town. I guess I am very soured by my personal experiences.

I also use to work in Baldwin....and there fore I have many other reasons why i wouldnt want to raise a family there.

My friend use to live there and she went to the scary Baldwin Highschool. It may of been better a long time ago but Baldwin isnt such a great area now. It is the same with Valley Stream. I went to school there, but I wouldnt want to live there now or raise my kids there. The town and the school disctrict just isnt the same anymore.

I am a recent grad of Baldwin HS, and my younger brother goes there now. Honestly, the HS is NOT SCARY. It just simply isn't. I actually love the fact that I got to grow up in such a diverse area. The 'gang' activity is so overexaggerated and a bunch of bs. While it may not be some people's ideal place to start their lives...it's not as bad as you may think.

LOL last year...you know who I am...who are you? what year were you song & cheer? I was always on Gold!
