I'm buying a coop and I need to find a good home inspector in the next 72 hours! Ack!
This is probably the scariest thing I have ever done--but I'm really happy that I will actually OWN my own place... wow!!

it took him at least an hour with my husband. he walked around and explianed to him exactly what the seller should fix before we moved in.
Then he sent a termite inspector as part of the inspection (which our lawyer needed) he wrote this report and we went over it with the lawyer as to what to add to the contract.
I would suggest asking ALOT of questions...this guy was very helpful and took the time to explain the things to my DH.

We used Home Sweet Home with our first house purchase. The owner is excellent. Very thorough and definitely worth using. We tried to get him for our second home but he was busy when we needed him. Good luck.

It's right near the Rocky Point Schools on Rocky Point Road...I'm so excited, I just got the preapproval from the bank...
What next? This is so crazy and confusing!
This will be my first home, right now I live with my parents in their basement!
Where in Setauket are you? Do you like the neighborhood?
