home owners - how much debt did you have when you went for pre-approval?

My DH wants to get pre-approved. The trouble is that with all the wedding expenses, I got myself into a bunch of credit card debt!

I'm afraid we'll be denied or pre-approved for a small amount.

How in debt were you and how do you think this will affect us....

We are between 10-15.. and got pre-approved. I say go for it, if you dont get approved the real estate people will let you know what you have to do...
