Home searching websites

Are there any websites that allow you to do a more detailed search, by age, and with/without basement, construction style, etc?

I noticed most only allow you to search by price and # of BR/BA.

We're not ready to buy yet, but I would like to do a bit of research and I figured by the time we find something, it will be a few years.

I have found a couple of websites that do this.
MLSLI.com and Realtor.com

I have been searching for listings too

Here is what i've been using -

http://www.vlshomes.com/

http://homes.newsday.com/newsday/index_quicksrch.jhtml

http://www.lifsbo.com/home/

http://www.forsalebyowner.com/

http://www.harmonhomes.com/findahome.html?state=NY&dma=2011

Dont know if they help you more
I just do a search on google for long island real estate listings or for sale by owner
