So excited! me and FH got a winemaking kit from my sister for x-mas, so last night we did the first step! Altogether, it takes about 4 weeks to make the whole batch....30 bottles!
Has anyone made homemade wine before? How did it come out?

I bought that for my Aunt and Uncle for christmas! I never made wine before but my grandpa gave me all the supplies to do so. I have just been lazy! Hope it comes out good!

It's on route 111 in Islip...south of Sunrise Hwy. They have tonssss of supplies and wines to choose from. The guy that owns it was so friendly when I stopped in yesterday to get a few things.

my dad gets his home made wine from his uncle vito( i know sounds like an ad from italia tv ) its very good but verrrrrry strong

Yea...any time I drink homemade wine you 'd think it was illegal! It's like such a different drunk than regular wine or any alcohol for some reason!

My grandfathers wine is the same way: super strong and a different kind of drunk!! I think it's because us guinies crush those grapes with our feet!!
