i purchased these earrings for my MOH & bridesmaids & myself to wear day of.
they cost me $32 a pair from overstock.com. when i received them in the mail they do not look like they cost that little.
i am not in anyway ashamed of how little i spent. by time i purchase thank you cards, gift boxes & gift wrapping, i will end up spending probably $50 per person.
at this time this is what i am comfortable spending. the girls in the bridal party are my sister (MOH) & my cousins. they would never pass judgment on me for getting a good deal.
never mind the fact that in our family its the little things that matter more to us. (sharing family photos from when we where kids or sending a get well card when we know someone has been sick.)
Everyone's situation is different. I don't think it's bad at all, esp since you have a decent sized bp. You could find 1 or 2 GREAT gifts for that amount instead of spending $100 for so-so gifts. (Not that i think anyone's ideas are so-so.. I'm just sayin lol.)

No one should be offended. You have to do what you can afford and since your bridal party is made up of your closest friends and family Im sure they will understand. Besides 50-75 is not exactly a cheap gift! I'd be happy with whatever!

Re: HONEST answer
My honest is opinion is that, that price range is completely fine. That is what I plan on spending...I too was a little surprised at the price range that some girls were spending...its great if you can do it and thats certainly not to offend anyone. Ive been in weddings where I believe the bride spent only about 25 dollars. I still didnt mind honestly.
I was thinking of either getting a wristlet from coach along with a gift card to each individual girls favorite store. The wristlets are usually around 40 and then i was thinking like a 25 gift certificate. Or, I would like to be able to get the mini coach bags for 50 (i got 2 for myself last black Friday at the outlets) and then put a little lesser amount gift certificate. You're totally fine imho!

Yes I agree with everyone...you do what you can do.....we have a HUGE Bridal Party....11 on each side plus FG and RB!!! So we are in trouble!!!!
I have been getting things little by little....that way I dont feel like I am spending things all at once.

Re: HONEST answer
Honestly, a gift is a gift. People shouldnt be offended to get a gift! If they're offended by the amount of money you spent...then they're offended to get a gift.
Its the thought that counts. I'm sure your friends/family wouldnt want you going into debt JUST to buy them a gift.

Nope, I have always been given small gifts such as earrings or such or things from things remembered so I am keeping up with that tradition. I keep looking at sales.

Oh wow, $100-150? I don't think I can spend that much either. I have 14 girls and guys to buy for. I'm more in the $75 range, or at least I hope to be. Someone mentioned readers. Do we have to get a gift for them too? Also, do you get gifts for the parents? Even if they're not paying for the wedding?

BMs and GMs shoudl not accept coming into your BP to recieve a gift anyway.

I wouldn't be offended. Untyil this site I didn't know that the bridal party even got gifts. I was in 6 weddings ,all fam and I never recieved a thing and I was fine with it. Spend what you can. It doesn't matter what any1 else is doing. I spent a lot because I'm a shopaholic and I had the money but I think that what you are looking to spend is perfect. Do whats best for you and your wallet.

Re: HONEST answer
Our budget for BP gifts is $75/pp. I think that's a decent number, and it is what we can afford.

I think that's a fine amount! No one has to know what amount you spent + if you look around for deals, you'll get them a gift with the same value. It doesn't matter what it costs, it just matters that it's from the heart.

I would not be offended at all... I wouldnt worry too much about it... BP gifts are fun, but I honestly dont think they need to break the bank, especially since you are paying for everything!
ITA!!!!! I have 10 girls in my BP so I won't be going super crazy either! There's a lot of deals out there. They won't even know how much you spent!

Re: HONEST answer
your friends and family did not sign up to be part of your bridal party because of the gift they would get....i also think that for what you want to spend, if you look around enough you can find something really great that looks like you spent alot more
