FH usually calls me when he's heading to lunch around noon, and I'll call him when I'm leaving work to see if he needs me to pick him up anything from the store or something like that.

not that often - we're on Gchat mostly. maybe like 1-3 times a week, if we're coordinating picking up/groceries or stuff

Ehhhh... maybe once during my lunch if I have something to tell him and then again when I'm on my way to class.

If we have something going on or if we're trying to confirm plans it'll be more than that but I try not to bothering him while he's at work unless it's important.

FH maybe calls me once a day from work. I don't call him. He doesn't have a desk job, so we don't really connect on the phone a lot. He tries to call me at lunch and then when school is out (he's a teacher). So, 1-2 times a day.

it depends on how many clients i see during the day and how busy he is...some days more than others...
we always shoot for 1/2x day though..if not, we email...

eta: this is aside from calling when either gets to work

we like have a schedule lol, its just habit

1 - he calls me when hes on his way to work
2- i call when i get to work
3 - he or i call mid morning
4 - he or i call in the afternoon

i mean.. he calls me in the morning to wake me up. but i dont pick up.

and maybe ill call him once during the day..or he'll call me. 2 min convo TOPS


but coworkers fam calls 8/a day.. sometimes more.

just wanted to know the norm.

he used to text me when he got to his 2nd office (he works for one company at two locations) and we'd text while he was on break, then i'd call him at 3:00 when I went for my cig break...

but he stopped texting me a few months back, saying it was bothering him that he'd have to 'check in' and I stopped calling him at 3 cause my co-worker went with me... but as of a week ago I quit smoking.

but FH and I usually email each other during the day

Most days not at all, but at most 1 time per day. he works nights and I work days so even though he is home all day, he knows I am usually too busy too chat (although clearly not too busy to be on LI weddings, lol)
