Honest but open minded makeup advice please

My daily (ok, maybe only Mon-Fri) makeup routine consists of brown eyeliner and lipstick. It gets put on once and that's it. If I never wore any, it wouldn't matter to me. So for the wedding, I do not want to look completely different ... I know people will say I need to be made up a certain amount for pictures, etc but I'm just so not into it. What's the minimum I can get away with?

Edited subject since it seemed so dramatic!!!

Hi.

I know how you feel, I am so not a make up person, but you will need some powder and foundation, you will need eyeliner and mascara, lipstick and blush to say the least.

This will make all the difference in pictures.

They can do minimal. I had a marykay women do my makeup.
She didn't do anything too extreme.. if you want her number she can give you a facial for free and try some colors.

Re: Honest but open minded advice please

I'm totally with you! I am a mascara, concealer and lipstick girl. It goes on in the am, and it's forgotten until I wash it off!
I think that the whole foundation/heavier application for your wedding has a lot to do with picutres and avoiding that washed-out look. I will go heavier than I usually do, but I too want to still look like me.

What you might try is doing your own experimentation with your makeup so you have an idea of how its gonna feel on your face, etc. Or if you're not comfortable with your own doing, ask a friend. I want to do my own 'trials' before i pay someone so I can say, this is what I want, no more, no less. I don't want to end my trial thinking I look like a tart!

Goldilocks - I'm thinking the same way! Gonna have my MOH do some home trials - I like the way her makeup looks on her (even though it's more than I would ever wear). It's almost impossible for me to think about spending $$ on something that is so unimportant to me.
