Honest CP Opinions

How do you girls feel about Calla Lily Centerpieces? Honest opinions please.....my wedding is a saturday night and i was looking for something clean and classy. these were the only decent pictures i found

Personally, I don't think calla lillies but many people do. I think they do have a very simple and elegant look. I say go for it.

if the stems are long like the last pic i think it looks gr8, the 1st pic with the short stems i dont really like.

I do love them...I would just add another green (like the 3rd pict with the long skinny green - onion leaf like grass).

i think the florist is adding some kind of long grass..dont know the name..beach grass?

I recently went to a wedding with calla lilies. I want to say the center piece was a tall straight vase filled with green things (limes, olives, grapes) and one big calla lily. I was trying to find pictures, but it doesn't seem like any of us thought to take a picture of that

The guys had mini calla lillies as bouteniers (sp?). I've been seeing this theme a lot when I look up favors and stuff. There's tons you can do!

I went to a gorgeous wedding where the centerpieces were only calla lillies. They were gorgeous. There were about 40 in each vase so they were standing tall and not flopping all over. I don't love calla lillies, but these centerpieces were unbelievable.

thats what i want, like a tight cluster, not flopping all over, they will be in a tall pilsner vase

can i ask you how much you are spending on those? they are very pretty ... just trying to get an honest price quote ... since the last florist i went to was soooo expensive.

I went to a weddings where she had a tall vase with branches and like 6 calla lillies which fell and looks pretty....She then added ribbon around the vases to dress it up..

i'm doing calla lillies...here's a pic of what it will sorta look like...( just the pic of my inspiration)

except mine will be a dozen mini callas, but we are using the bear grass and putting the petals around it. My wedding is during the day so i wanted it to be pretty but not so 'formal' looking.

i love pic 2 & the last one! just be careful with Beach Grass since ur wedding is in February...u may want to consider something twig like(ie:last pic)or something with a darker green...but otherwise if u love them then do it! calla's are so elegant to me!

i'm going to be no help to you there...our hall was booked with a winter promotional package that included CP's up to $125 for all tables through their florist, lovin oven floral designs, so we arent paying a penny for them. the florist had i think 4 certain CP's i would have to pick and this was one of them. he said it valued at $100 but im not sure if its prices different for the promotion or not
