HONEST opinions needed....Monograms....

K, so I've been screwing around with monograms. I have 2 to choose from....not too different. If neither, that's fine, please say so. I have about 25 days until my trial expires, so I have plenty of time to work on it. You wont hurt my feelings....promise!!

Any creative suggestion are more than welcome too...or any tips on using photoshop and illustrator, as I've only used them for about a week.

I was questioning the 'and' also....maybe a & symbol instead? Going to mess around a bit more and see what I can come up with....within my skill set that is. Thank you again ladies!! Back to the drawings board!!

where did you get your monograms done?

I did them 9Just learning)....just seeing if I can get it done myself without having to spend money on it. I hate spending money on things I 'may' be able to do.

The design is nice! I would probably go with #2, but I would change the font and move it a little lower and off the design. You want it to be really readable. www.dafont.com has free downloadable fonts. Maybe try something less curly? Or if you really love that font, maybe keep your names in that font and change the date font. I mixed and matched fonts (be careful when you do this or it can look bad and messy) and it worked out well for us.

Depending on how you print you may also want to watch the glow/softness around the yellow box. A cheap home printer might not handle that as well.

I'm not sure what you're using to make this or how you plan to print it, but watch your DPI,and make sure its CMYK for printing.
