We want to get them watches. I don't know if I should get bracelet bands (metal) because they won't be sized, and I want the guys to be able to wear them the day of the wedding....so I was thinking maybe a leather band.
Would your FH wear this? Its one of those Citizen Eco-Drives that never needs a battery...ever!!!

I don't think any of the guys in our wedding would wear a leather band. They all would prefer a metal band. How far in advance ae you giving it to them? Maybe they can get it sized before the wedding? Usually a jeweler can size them while they wait.

yeah, that's what I figured. Rehearsal is 11/20 (tuesday night) they'd have to do it on Wednesday 11/21, but 1 is a cop, 1 is a fireman, and they're both working that day 11/22 is Thanksgiving 11/23 is the wedding
Maybe I can get them metal bands, measure how many links need to come out, and then take it to get sized myself the wednesday after the rehearsal....
err....but I may be REALLY busy that day! I don't know!

my FH is a watch whore - he'll wear any watch... My bro would wear it too and he's not a watch whore.
I like the leather band watches - I think they're classy and stylish.

I think my FH would wear that. I personally like metal bands better but that 's a nice watch.

I'm not too crazy about the leather band, but i'm sure they gusy will like it becuase it IS a really nice watch!

i always prefer a metal band of course HOWEVER from what you told me about the personalities of the guys in the party-- IDK, they might want a leather one over a metal one.

I like the watch......personally...my FH doesn't like a metal band..I do..LOL.. and his GM's are mixed..they would wear either..... if you could get them sized I would do the metal band if not I like the leather....
You know what Nic- I think it depends on the guy. My FH can't wear anything but leather bands bc he says that when he wears links it pull the hair on his arm and that annoys him. Watches are tricky. I was going to do watches but then decided against it for the exact same trouble you are having.
I got them The art of shaving kit which was $100 and FH is going to get them a GC to the barber shop for a cut and hot shave or something like that.
edit: I forgot to say that if you get them the watch and they have the option for a metal band then maybe you could include the gift reciept so they can get it changed if they wanted to.
