ok why im doing this now and didn't do it earlier i don't know lol. Ok i received one of the samples i ordered today, and it was one i was really waiting for. Ok the front part i was kind of like EH about, i think its the sticker on the front, if it was a different design maybe it'd be better. The inside i love and love the colors and goes with my color scheme. But i just can't help saying eh about the front part.
Sorry not the greatest pictures...the quality of cardstock is good and its nice and shimmery, and the bottom got bent but only bc mailman folded the envelope it was in and stuck it in my mail box

I am calling another company and asking them to send my other sample ASAP, its the other one i really loved but i made a mistake when mailing it GRRRR

Denise, here's my advice.....regardless of what any of us think about this particular invite, if you don't LOVE it, then keep looking. You're the same way about invites that I am, and it will drive you crazy in the long run if you're not completely happy.

Also, you mentioned it got bent in your mailbox... Most invites this size (large/ square) have bent in my mailbox when being delivered to me. If you have a lot going to smaller mailboxes in apts. / condos/ etc. ... just something to keep in mind....
The invite is very pretty & I do love the script/ inserts too...
this one is not that big...the problem is that along with the invite they sent a big folder with lots of info and infact at first i was like wheres the actual invite lol.

I think they're nice, but agree that it seems like something is missing. My colors were brown and blue and I did our invitation opposite of the ones you have here. So mine were a chocolate pocketfold with blue on the inside.
I love the inserts in the sample you have. I think that the modified outside would look better - personally I prefer the one that has a brown background with the monogrammed tag over it (the first option that was 'redone' above).
I also agree with Katie&Chris2006 that the inside is missing a little something. I think that a brown background behind the invitation would make it POP, would coordinate really well with the inserts, and would compliment the modified monogram tag with the added background on the front/cover.

well i'll wait for the other one i really liked and see if that one will WOW me...if not then i might customize this one bc they said they'll make any changes we want.
they even sent me separate sheets with wording to show how it looks with their chocolate brown ink, and their blue ink and how it can be modified

This is the opposite of what you have here, but just to give you an idea of the look with the background colors on the monogram tag and behind the invitation cardstock.
It's a little hard to see, but all the writing is in either brown or blue ink. Pocketfold is brown.

Oooo that is GORGEOUS
yeah its funny bc up until now all the invites i looked at were chocolate brown with details of blue...but i saw this and thought Oooo ok its pretty and still my colors...thank you

I see what you are saying about the front... It's not 'EH', it's just simple and on the plain side... but plain doesn't always mean 'not nice' I think it's simple and in my opinion, simple is better. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the dinner and dancing card (i may be stealing that for myself)!!! LOL
