So I am currently writing my review, and I just feel that I need to mention some things that they did wrong on the day of. Anyone know what the rules are for pointing out a negative for a vendor, especially a LIW one? My day was amazing, and none of the things are really bad but I think that it could help future brides if I mention these things. Should I mention it to the vendor first before I post?

I dont know the rules But Id like to add that I think it would be really beneficial and greatly appreciated if people could post really honest reviews- not malicous but honest.

And I think as long as you don't say 'Stay away from this vendor' or anything like that to warn against a vendor and just relate your own experience, it's fine. Whether you want to contact the vendor first is up to you, but I don't think I would.

i was pretty honest with mine and it hasn't been pulled
i don't really understand the whole 'A+++++++++++' that some brides give for everyone, it's just not helpful

Just state the facts...don't write opinions or 'stay away from..' etc and you should be good!

I cannot agree more with the A+++++ ratings. Maybe I'm just picky, but few vendors even warrant an A+.
I'm with you on honest review---nothing was 'day runing' but all the little slip-ups could have been prevented or handled better and I'd like future brides to know about them. For the LIW vendors, I'll say what I can and suggest FMing for further deets.

I was as honest as possible with my reviews. the only one i gave a few harsh review to deserved it, and it hasn't been pulled (and many brides in the past have given a pretty similar review--too bad i didn't know about LIW when i paid them!). There was only vendor where I glanced over some of the details I experienced, but it was a special circumstance.
