Surprisingly Kleinfelds has some in that range during their sales, but not too many. It's worth a shot to check out though.
Go check other places...i got my dress from the Bridal Suite in Centereach for only $650...a lot of times when you go to the bridal shops they ask u how much u are looking to spend...so most of the time they will help you find what u r looking for!
i think you should try RK Bridal every dress i tried on was under $1000 i was looking to spend around $500 and got mine for a little over 700
i would def check out preownedweddingdresses.com. i sold my dress on there from a previous engagement for less than half what i bought it for (over 4k) and it was never even worn. so you never know, you can make out like a bandit on there. and for sure check out RK.
try www.thebridalshop.com They have a shop in White Plains not the best customer service but you will get your gown at a great price. They have maggie gowns!!

I found my dress at Macys (Demetrios) and went to Burtons and told them the style # and they gave me a price under $1000 with alterations. I was very happy. Don't settle for David's if you they don't have a dress you love...you have other options.
Honestly, no. You can try other places- def RK Bridal. I hear they have the most amazing prices. Look at David's too though. You may be able to find such a gorgeous gown there. They do have really nice gowns.
RK Bridal had a much better selection than David's Bridal and I saw a lot of things that were under $1000.

yes - check out davids, but there are other places that also carry gowns that are around the 1K mark and under....dont limit yourself....
Some Alfred Angelo gowns go for about $500. You could also go to sample sales and things like that if you have the time. I believe places like Wedding Center in Commack and Burton's have dresses for SO much cheaper than bridal salons. I got my dress at David's Bridal (which is having a sale right now actually) but there are other options.
Definitely check out Maggies...some of them are between 500-700 dollars and are stunning! what kind of dress are you looking for?
ok so i guess that there are a lot of dresses you can get that arent from davids...but davids has TONS of dresses. i got mine and its within your budget and its georgous....dont think that bc its davids, its poorer quality or anything, my dress is just as beautiful in person

Yes!! I felt the same way! I went to davids then to two other places and i found a beautiful dress way under 1000. When you go to other bridal shops just tell them what your budget is! I found my dress at Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills.. her prices were the best by far!
