a co-worker smelled REALLY bad?? Like you can't even identify what the smell is....body order, formaldehyde...who knows! She also has this pasty grey almost colored skin and we swear she wears a wig! We've wondered if she's 'sick', homeless, an alcoholic.....
for now, the air freshners give some relief....but it's just so putrid!

OMG, do you work in my friends office? She says the same exact thing about 'stinky'(thats what they call him). She had scented candles and air fresheners all over. GROSS!!!!

I'd talk to someone to see if something can be said to her. I personally would not be the one saying anything but someone should. OR I would probably be a b*tch and just complain about the stench (sp?)... Either way, I'd def. complain to HR or my boss and have someone say something to her. Is this just recently? or has she always been like this?

she's a new hire...they were desperate to get a receptionist (while I was getting married...) and she's really nice....unlike the last one we had....it's just the smell is SO bad and she's not too easy on the eyes....very peculiar....almost reminds me of Morticia Adams with the way she looks with the pale skin, dark hair.....

Oh you poor things!!! I had to do a show once and share a dressing room with this women who smelled like a bait shop. The dressing room was so small and there were four of us in it( I called it the clown car). It was horrible. I finally would just change in the hall. I'd rather everyone see me in my undies then be in there with the singing bass.

Maybe give her a 'welcome' basket of body sprays from Bath and Body???
We had to talk to a woman that we work with about this problem...she actually got much better and appreciated the fact that we told her

I don't know, but perhaps she has some sort of sickness or just doesn't wash her clothes, although it is horrible to be around, I'd handle the situation with kid gloves.
Perhaps talk to her supervisor or HR, or maybe goto lunch with her and shop for some Bath & Body Works stuff (etc.)
