You should wait until a year before.

Re: honeymmon?
never too early, plus you get early booking discounts at most places, the earlier, usually the cheaper

Re: honeymmon?
The only problem is the airfare. I can't find flights for next April yet, so July will be just as difficult. Research your options now - set a budget, then book when flights come out.

I don't think it's too early, but you may have trouble finding flights.

I'm taking a cruise and as soon as the 2006 books open, we're booking.

Re: honeymmon?
one of the airlines told me flight only go 360 days out. I actually was on the phone this morning with Sandals and they told me for April, I should look in August for cheaper airfare. Not sure if August is a general rule or not?

Same here. I've already received some quotes that are available from Dawn of Cruise One. Once the others are in (she said sometime in June) we will book. With cruises you get great discounts when you book early.

Depends. Some airlines and hotels do not book more than 1 year in advance. My wedding is 6/29 and we plan to leave for honeymoon the next day, so I plan on booking our honeymoon 7/1 this year...so we have time to pay it off! (Tahiti here we come!)

I didn't know about that site. I'll check it out. I really want Royal Caribbean but their rates are really high. My honeymoon is going to be just as expensive as my reception, haha!

I got a quote for one of Royals new ships - Royal Freedom of the Seas departing from Miami (it premiers in 2006) and for a balcony suite we got a decent quote. It goes from Miami to Cozumel Mexico, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay Jamaica and Labadee Hispanola.
Carnival cruises also had prices available but I don't want to do a Carnival cruise.
Once all the quotes are in we will decide.

Re: honeymmon?
I booked mine a few months ago with MAS Travel (a vendor here). I'll book the airfare 2 months before, but I made sure to get the Sandals early booking bonus -- it was 40% off. Also, if it happens to go even lower at any point, MAS travel re-books it so you get the lower rate. So, book now I say!!

That's cool! I'm actually doing the Alaskan Cruise / Land Tour. I beileve it's only on the Radiance of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas ships.
