We have been to a lot of islands and nice places. FMIL says she has spoiled us since she is a TA and always takes us with her so we get a great discount. Now for the honeymoon we cant get a discount only she wouldnt take commision. She also wants to help us out with it, but we dont want to spend too much money.
We just dont know where to go.

I Just dont want to go somewhere that is going to be like the others although we are considering
Sandals - Jamiaca Mexico
I suggested Costa Rica but FH says no We would like to do Hawaii or Europe but both are going to be more money than we prob want to spend.
any suggestions?

my brother got married somewhere in jamacia and said it was not very nice... if you go to a resport the highly advise you do NOT leave the property for security purposes (doesnt sound to great to me)
what about Punta Cana.. i hear is BEAUTIFUL, barbados

I went there and it was TERRIBLE. Parts are amazing, though, I hear ... but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Forget Sandals or something like that..sounds too common for you guys. You should do a cruise somewhere or Hawaii....don't go to the Caribbean again. JMO.

Punta Cana is a part of the Dom Rep .. one of the parts I heard was amazing.

i would check out anyplace that is all inclusive i think is so much better to travel that way... check out... www (put dot if i do the site wont show up) allinclusive.com it will give you every single all inclusive resort!

We are going to Couples San Souci in Jamaica- check out the reviews on tripadvisor. it is supposed to be awesome.
In mexico, there is the Riviera Maya Excellence that everyone talks about. We stayed somewhere that was in Riviera Maya-Tulum and it was very affordable and nice.

haha thanks. yeah we love sandals in general but it woulnt be anything different then we have done. People we know have been to Sandals in Jamaica and are going back for their honey moon (12 days - which honestly is TOO long to stay at any sandals it gets played out!) and I wouldnt go back to st lucia.
I dont think we would like a cruise. I like to be in one spot and not feel rushed to get back on the boat.
We def wnat to do hawaii but FMIL says there really isnt way to make is a cheaper vacation she just sent someone there at moderate hotels and it was $8000 or something.

i have heard jamaica is beautiful but you wont wanna venture outside the resorts lol. My brother satyed in ocho rios and his room was robbed they took his ipod, camera and a few otehr things, my friends dad went to negri and got pickpocketed while they were out shopping off the resort. and another friends room got robbed in negril. The only one i didnt hear bad things about was montego bay...but i heard the sandals resprt is really close to the airport so u hear he planes comming in andout alot

you got to be careful! most of the islands in the carribean are like that!!!!!! there really isn't anywhere you can go that is really nice off of the resort..ive been all over the caribbean so i know
