if you get you passport now it will have to be in you current name. when you book your HM the tickets will also be in your current name because it has to match the passport. so after you get married if u plan on traveling outside the US you will have to either change the name on your passport, which there is a form to fill out for that when the time comes OR you can just do your airline tickets in your maiden name. i hopei didnt confuse you.

Good question!! So if the airline ticket and the valid passport are in our maiden names....we don't HAVE to change either to our married name before we leave out of country for our honeymoon?

yes that is correct. i already booked my HM and got my passport and its all in my maiden name.
