Re: Honeymoon
I want to book it as early as possible. I think FH and I are going to start looking into it next month, so about 11 months in advance. We're planning on Australia, and Qantas Airlines doesn't open flights until 11 months in advance.

Re: Honeymoon
if your doing sandals or cruises, you can book now.
otherwise, i would still wait. i still haven't booked mine 100%, i only have flights booked b/c the hotel promotions for 2010 are not yet. My TA told me by next week it should be out.

Re: Honeymoon
I'm going to wait until 10-12 months before the wedding/honeymoon because flights don't come out before then.

Re: Honeymoon
we're considering tahiti, fiji, autralia and hawaii for our honeymoon but we haven't decided yet.
is it too soon to book any of those places?

i would start keeping an eye out on flight prices, i was stalking kayak everyday for months and finally one day they dropped dramatically.
otherwise i would really hold off on the hotel part, promotions are not out yet.
i really have to say, i know most of us are in a rush to book this part bc its so exciting, but seriously wait a bit. i've spoken to a bunch of people and TA's and everyone keeps telling me that, especially with the economy, lots of deals keep coming out every week.
eta: unless you are booking sandals or cruises, then now is a good time to book b/c those companies come out with pricing and promotions a lot earlier then hotels.

Re: Honeymoon
I am booking mine this week!
I want to give myself enough time to prepare the money. We like to do monthly payments to everything. It just helps us out for organizing the funds.

We went to our travel agent, she was cheaper than the website. We are going to St. Lucia for 7 days and Antigua for 4.

Re: Honeymoon
We have our honeymoon booked already, but we are taking a cruise and it goes out of New Jersey so there's no flights involved.
