Just curious are any of you 'not' going on a honeymoon?
FH and I can't because I'll be in heavy duty schooling at the time. I feel gulity like we should. My mom suggested going on a mini-moon. I guess like a weekend getaway. It makes me sad that we can't go to Greece like we orignally wanted.
Anyone else have this situation?

Maybe you guys can go away for the weekend? Like a little 3 day getaway? My bff is doing that.....she and FH are getting married in April and are planning 1month in Greece that summer so they are going to Florida for 3 days right after the wedding, as a mini honeymoon! You guys should def go for a mini-moon - you deserve it! We haven't planned our HM yet so I am not sure what we are doing!

my sister didnt go on her honeymoon until their 1 year anniversary!

my parents went on a weekend gateway when they got married. they had my brother in school & they didn't want to leave him home for that long with my grandparents. they also had just purchased a house so they couldn't afford anything extra. they celebrated their marriage on their 25th anniversary by spending 10 days in Vegas.

Maybe you can go away at a later time. My wedding is in January but I start school 5 days later so we won't be going away until my spring break, which is March 25th to April 4th. Or you can think of it this way - If you just do a weekend away after the wedding, that means you can spoil yourselves for your 1 year anniversary with a nice big trip if you wanted!

i would do a weekend get away and then when you both have time do the HM! nothing wrong w/ that!

we are not we will go away for a few days but not too far I want to go to europe so we will go on our one year ann. because of the cost we will wait!

a friend of mine just did a mini-moon since she had to start school again asap. they went to this place in PA, she said it was a gorgeous B&B. they did a hot air balloon ride, went to philly and some other stuff.....maybe you can do something like this?
