we are getting married on a Friday. that night we plan on staying in a super nice hotel in the city, then will leave for the honeymoon in Hawaii on the Saturday.
all of my friends, always waited an extra couple of days before they left. they all got married on a Saturday & waited until the Monday to leave. but i think its because none of them lived together prior to getting married so they moved in together on the Sunday.

we were gonna wait another day before we left but since we are going for 11 days plus need a few days before the wedding...we figured leaving on saturday would be one less day we'd have to take off of work

My wedding is on a Sat night-actually ending at 1am. We have our flight Sunday morning at 9:45am.

I'm getting married on a Sat. Not exactly sure if we are going to going right after the wedding, but I know I definitely can't leave the day after the wedding because it's Mother's Day. Plus I think even if it wasn't MD, I would want a day in between to relax, so I would go with Monday.

Right now we're looking at a cruise. Our wedding is on Saturday June 5, and the cruise debarks from Rome on June 14. But FFIL wants to send us to Rome a few days early so we can spend more time there, so we might leave on June 10 or 11.

We are getting married on saturday night, and are going to leave Tuesday. Figured Sunday would give us time with our OOT guest and to Relax. Monday will give us time to see Family and do our banking stuff. And then Finally off to RELAX
