My friends didn't take their honeymoon until 6 months later. When you go, you go. I would prefer to leave directly after wedding, otherwise its like a vacation rather than wedding. But---You will be together!

We're going to St. Lucia too!! We are getting married Saturday and then leaving for the HM on Monday!!!! I wanted the day after the wedding to just relax and get any last minute things together.

weddings on sunday, leaving that tuesday.... we want to have monday to get to the bank, do a brunch with our out of town guests and just get everything kinda in order before we leave for our hm

We left the very next morning after our daytime wedding... I actually packed the day before our wedding so that was all done... And we stayed in a hotel the night before and after the wedding... Also got my nails done the morn before... Believe me, you'll be surprised just how much you can run around and do... Oh yeah, and not to mention that our 'rehearsal' dinner was the night before the big day and on our way there, Im freaking out to DH telling him 'omg... I HAVE to get my eyebrows threaded!!!!!!' So we actually stopped at a salon right before our dinner...

Oh and as for dropping by the bank, we took all our envelopes on the plane with us down to Miami... opened them all on the flight... and deposited at a bank down there before leaving on our cruise...

You find ways of cramming everything in... Def leave on that sunday... You'll still be floating on cloud 9 at that point

getting married thursday. leaving the saturday after the following saturday

im going to st lucia and leaving saturday and coming back sunday... i dont knwo what airline but its def. a weekend flight
