Honeymoon!!!

So I always thought we would go to Sandals St. Lucia but I am having my doubts!!! We want to go for 10 days and its $6,000 for the BASIC room. We go away alot and we always get the nice rooms so for our honeymoon we want something even better!

Any suggestions?!?! We would LOVE an all inclusive, not more than a 6-7 hour flight and not Jamaica, Mexico, DR or Antigua (since we have already been). Anything besides Hawaii too?? Would love a 'hut' type of a room with a private pool or something!

i saw some interesting pictures/ places in the last BRIDES magazine. if you get that, check it out. i forget exactly where but the places looked amazing. it was broken down into 'splurge' and 'save' for similar places.

MrsPy, I think we want a destination place! We like cruises but we want a 'wow' type of room on land :)

i dont think it's worth spending the $ on, it's got sooo many advertisements. not sure how but i'm getting it free . lol. i'll look at it tonight and let you know what's on there.

Have you thought about Europe? Spain,Italy and Greece all have Islands in Mediterranean and its BEAUTIFUL over there!!

My mom borrows wedding magazines from the library. (We live in Queens, so I'm not sure if Nassau/Suffolk libraries carry the latest editions?) I made fun of her at first, but when I realized how expensive they were, I actually thought it was a great idea.

If your heart was set on Sandals, did you check through the website? I think they're still offering 65% off their rooms. That's how FH and I were able to afford a villa with butler service for 7 days.

for something truly amazing check out the island suite at the rosewood mayacoba in riviera maya. it is not an all inclusive but we just returned. felt like we were on our own private island.
