Honeymoon advice-Rome or Florence? UPDATED

OK so we are deep in the throes of honeymoon planning-
We are definitely doing 3 nights in Paris before embarking to Italy..

We decided on Florence!! 4 nights in Florence will be relaxing and romantic, thank you for all your insight. We may sneak in a day trip to Rome, but we'll see.

I'd say Rome. Florence has amazing museums but I loved the energy of Rome

I have been to both and I have to say I love Florence more. It really depends on what you want to see. Rome has wonderful historic sites but Florence does also, but is not as busy as Rome.

100% FLORENCE i spent four months there and it is the most romantic place
and my favorite city
the food is also much better in florence - from my experience - and then you can take day trips into tuscany - chianti or cinque terre! which is gorg!!!!!!! im so jealous - im just going to st. lucia!
