How many of you are wearing your rings / jewerly to HM??
I'm a bit stuck and don't know what to do!! : Our wedding is in NY then we go straight to our HM not giving us time to come back home to ATL and leave our jewerly!! Although Insurance will cover everything I like the ONE FH picked out!!
ETA: I will be taking my jewerly on the HM.. Just wanted to know the reasons for some leaving them behind..

If you take it with you, which it sounds like you kinda don't have a choice, just be extra careful with it. I think most people leave it home bc they don't want to leave it in the hotel safe, you could always put your rings around your neck on a necklace when you go to the beach if you don't want to leave them behind. As long as they're insured then you're covered.
If you somehow have a way of leaving them in NY with your family and then they can get them to you in Atlanta, that might be an option.
I went to Manhattan, right near RK Bridal and bought an e-ring/wedding band set for $17 that looks almost exactly like my actual rings.

I have traveled all over. Third world countries and everything in between. I wear my rings every where and never have had a problem. As long as you lock them in a safe when they're not on your finger you'll be fine.

I brought them with me and had no problems at all. We didn't do a beachy HM though, we did europe so didn't have same concerns as many others. However, DH and I were engaged on a cruise and he proposed on the first night, so when we made at stops in the caribbean, i had my rings and again no problems

I always wear my jewerly everywear and anywhere!! I needed to know why ppl make such a big deal of not wearing jewerly while at there HM... No big deal...
Advise... I insured my jewerly with my home insurance company (Liberty Mutual) and I'm also sure all car insurances also give you a discount on your jewerly insurance...
