I had told FH that I didn't really care where we went on our HM, and he had mentioned either Nova Scotia or the Grand Canyon. Since we're going in late July, we nixed the Grand Canyon idea because it'll be so freakin' hot there that we probably wouldn't enjoy it.
So, Nova Scotia it was. And we were all excited about it, but haven't bothered planning anything.
Tell me why last night he says to me that maybe instead of Nova Scotia, we go to Seattle and do a Northwest Coastal kinda thing, ending up in Napa Valley and San Francisco.
Oy.
I'm up for anything. I'm just like 'really?'
He better make up his mind before July. Otherwise we'll be honeymooning at Jones Beach.

If you do nova Scotia have you considered a cruise to Canada. They leave from NY and are suppossed to be beautiful.
I think the west coast trip sounds awesome too. If I were you I would give him a deadline. I know with FH I have to do that or nothing get's done

Nova Scotia is beautiful. I've done both the cruise and the drive. I preferred the drive. Cali is also awesome. If you decide on NS, FM me and I'll get FH to give you lots of good info...

I hear jones beach is lovely in july.
I'd totally do that northwest thing... napa/sonoma is fabulous BUT VERY HOT in the summer. hwr, vancouver is supposed to be amazing so if you went north from seattle that would be a great choice.

have you guys done seattle before? i did a trip seattle-to-vancouver. it was one of the coolest trips ever. i booked it thru a company that has EVERYTHING on their website and takes care of EVERYTHING (even taxi fares were covered with vouchers) and the hotels were awesome too!

I went to Seattle once, on my own, when I was like 19 and followed Pearl Jam on tour.
But I'd like to go back. I want to move there so badly that I'm selfishly thinking that I'd rather do Seattle just so I can convince him that we should live there..

yeah grand canyon would be brutal! I did it in july and it was awful!
The west coast is so pretty I say go there. Nova Scotia is closer and you could go there any time.
hey, if you vacay at Jones beach, look for me! lol. I'll have beer lol.
