Honeymoon crisis diverted..kinda long

Honeymoon crisis diverted..kinda long

So Christine (stineandandy) was talking about the books she got on Hawaii the other day so it got me wanting to take a trip to Barnes & Noble to do a little research on Panama. My uncle loves it there and wants to make it his second home and offered to pay for me and FH to go there for our HM. However, they books didn't leave me with a feeling of all the things there are to do there. FH and I are really adventurous and like vacations where we can explore, shop, do water sports, get pampered, and lounge all at the same time. When I talked to my uncle about it he said not to worry and that I could choose where ever I want to go as long as I don't 'break the bank.' lol. So that means Bora Bora is still not in the running, but a crap load of other places just opened up!

Thanks Christine!

Hmm, I'm not too sure yet but I really love Puerto Rico and I really love cruises. I found a cruise that leaves from PR and goes to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. kitts, and then back to PR. So I'm thinking of doing the 7 day cruise and then staying in Puerto Rico for like 4-5 days after the ship comes back into port. It may be the best of both worlds for our adventurous side and relaxing side.

FH said to me last night, 'How about Hedoism?'
I was like, 'Umm, how about NO! Being at a naked resort is not my idea of a HM!!'

I was also looking at Sandals, but I don't know if there are enough activities for us to do there. After about 2 days of relaxing i'm like, 'ok let's go climb a mountain or something' lol

Sandals actually has a lot of things to do plus a bunch of excursions off the properties.....we are going to Sandals in St. Lucia

Yay!! We are going to Sandals...hopefully if we aren't too poor. Getting a house is more important to us then having a huge wedding or a crazy honeymoon.

I've heard great things about costa rica!
FH and I went on cruise last year but it left from ny..we went through serious withdrawal over all the food after it was over. I kept walking to my kitchen expecting to find a lido deck!
