As some of you know I was considering cancelling my HM due to budget issues. We are scheduled to go to the grande st. lucian for a week. I have been pricing trips and found that a trip to disney will be 1100 dollars less to pay upfront. So, maybe I should switch plans? What do you ladies think?

Hmmmm, I would suggest you think about the type of HM you want. Those 2 are totally different experiences. After imagining the Grande St. Lucian, will you be OK with Disney, which is much more FUN oriented, and less romantic. What does FH think?

I have to agree with Liz. We have been to Disney twice and it was the best time on both occasions. We loved every minute there. It was draining though. The kids get to be a bit overwhelming-crying and screaming. But then you have those that just light up your day when you see how happy they are to see Mickey with their own eyes. That is just a breathtaking sight! However since we have gone their twice already and know the ins and outs of Disney and Universal, I would say St Lucia for the calmness and tranquility it has. Disney does have its romatic things but I don't think it would beat St Lucia. JMO.

we've already booked st. lucia, I was trying to save money by suggesting disney. But I just got off the phone with my FH and he said we are going to st. lucia. So I guess the debate if over. LOL
