I know I have time to decide, but I am making myself crazy! I originally was 100% set on Tahiti. But then decided 2 weeks there might get a bit boring -- especially if it rains. Then I wanted to go to South Africa...but FH wasnt thrilled with that idea. Now I am thinking Australia. Is anyone else having trouble making a decision? Or am I just the most indecisive person on the planet. I seriously wish I could just take a yr off and travel the world. LOL

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
FH and I are both interested in two very different honeymoons. We're both into the idea of a nice Caribbean cruise, but both also want to do the Grand Canyon/Vegas/Napa Valley/Yellowstone (some combo of those, anyway).
Initially we wanted something more exotic, but with not a huge amount of vacation time available to us (we each only get two weeks per year) and the fact that we're helping to pay for the wedding and honeymoon, we decided to keep it more local. We don't feel the pressure to go all-out with our honeymoon because we're not looking to have children anytime soon. So we might go for a huge one-year anniversary trip instead!
So yeah...we either want to cruise or hike. Sheesh!

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
i can't make up my mind either. we started wanting to do europe, then said it would be too much $. then we said we would do California (from San Fran down to San Deigo with a stop in vegas on the way home), FH said he wanted hawaii, but I was there 2 years ago (it was great, but i wanted somewhere i had never been), I thought about a cruise around hawaii, but he didn't like that idea. so at the moment, we are thinking about a mediterranean cruise and london

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
We were having the same issue... we wanted to do Fiji but I didn't think we could do 2 full weeks... So now we're going to spend most of our honeymoon in Fiji at a resort that has a TON to do and then head over to Australia from there. We figured that way we won't get too bored.

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
We had difficulties deciding as well, becuase we'll be going on our honeymoon a few weeks after we get married (we both work in schools and need to wait til the summer). Neither of us can tolerate the heat, and we both hate beach vacations (we're nerds and love to learn about culture!), so we finally settled on Brittany and Normandy, France because the weather's a little cooler (with a few days in Paris first), and then off to England where it should hopefully also be bearable.
Australia is a good compromise between relaxation and things to do. Just make sure you are there long enough to justify the long plane ride!

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
I'm having trouble deciding on whether or not to add Tahiti, but always knew we would go to Hawaii. Not so original, but that's probably the only part of getting married that I dreamt about as a kid, everything else I am figuring out now. Besides, FH and I travel all of the time. If it was really just me, I would go have us fly to CA, drive North along the Pacific coastline, stopping along the way, and fly out of Seattle to Alaska for a 7 day cruise. Then from there, fly to Hawaii for another week. Sigh... I am so indecisive. not sure if either of us have that much vacay time anyway...
